Let’s get fit!

They say it’s easier to get fit if you have a “fitness group”. Well, as much as I wish I’m friends with my neighbors and start this program, I don’t think it’s happening soon. What should be happening soon though, is my true commitment to getting fit! This goes well beyond weight loss and appreciating myself more. My goal now constitutes a healthy lifestyle.

I eat too much sweets. I don’t want to develop diabetes. I need to make sure I eat a balanced diet. With this, my dear followers, I give you the permission to unfollow me if seeing a girl struggle her way through choosing healthy alternatives on her plate seems unbearable. It will be repetitive, but I’ll try my best to keep it interesting for myself and whoever is interested out there.

First in my list? No sweets from Monday-Friday till the end of of the program. Oh yeah, this program I’m trying will last 12 weeks. That’s September 19- December 12. 

You may ask why there is a time limit if my goal is a healthy lifestyle and not weight loss. Well, I’m not sure if I can actually stick to my plan. So, I wish I could at least persuade myself to finish the 12 weeks and see if my healthy ways turn into a habit.
